The Greater Houston Builders Association is putting you face-to-face with all kinds of builders, all under one roof, for one weekend only!

Remodelers Will Be at NHRS ~ Turn your existing house into the home of your dreams when you hire one of the exhibiting members of the GHBA Remodelors Council, one of the fastest growing and most active councils affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders's NAHB Remodelers. Whether you're planning to add a room, redo a kitchen or bath, lay new flooring, install new doors and windows, put in a patio or deck, replace your roof or go for a total renovation, find a professional remodeler member right at the show!

Greening the American Dream ~ We're focusing on energy efficiency at this year’s show, including seminars presented by experts from show partner CenterPoint Energy’s Energy Star Homes program and their gas division. We’re encouraging building and remodeling that leaves as little footprint on the planet as possible and showcasing our with an interactive structure created by the Houston Green Building Initiative and Houston Habitat for Humanity, Fox Energy Specialists and Airtron to promote healthy, energy and water efficient homes that reduce utility costs and use recycled, renewable and/or reclaimed materials that protect the environment.

Plus, Green Mountain Energy is among conservation-conscious companies exhibiting at NHRS; Project ArchWind will display a 12-foot high windmill to attract eco-interested visitors to their booth and a variety of energy experts, such as solar panel companies and landscaping conservation specialists will also be there.

Seminars & Workshops ~ A weekend of home-related education - and some fun stuff thrown in, too! Learn Something Beautiful ~ Looking to redecorate? Look to Deborah Healon, A.I.B.D., N.K.B.A, keynote speaker from the Texas Institute of Building Design (TIBD), who will host the TIBD Design Center at the show. Dr. Healon will also present four seminars over the show weekend: Principles to a Well Designed Room; The Psychology of Color; Eco-Friendly Furniture and a Kitchen & Bath Tips session.
